Vaak verdwijnen deze scripties in een stoffige kast of ontoegankelijk online archief om nooit meer gelezen te worden. De Vlaamse Scriptieprijs wil scripties van dat droevige lot redden, door ze onder meer bij de pers en uitgeverijen te promoten.
